IS Investment was established in 1996 as a subsidiary of Isbank which has always held a distinctive position in Turkish Finance Markets. The main shareholder has accomplished many firsts for the establishment and development of Turkish Capital Markets; it has the highest number of investors, manages the largest investor portfolios and has handled the majority of public offerings. IS Investment is located at the heart of the intersection between supply and demand, carrying on this tradition with its’ key role of assisting the development of Turkish Capital Markets.
IS Investment, representing approximately 1/3 of the sector with its TL 4.9 billion asset size, reached TL 70.8 million consolidated net income as of end of 2013. IS Investment represents more than one fourth of the market with its AuM size of TL 14.4 billion.
Representing a large and commanding presence in the Turkish investment market, reflected in its transaction volumes, IS Investment ranks first not only in Borsa Istanbul Equties Markets since 2003, but also in Derivatives Market since the foundation of the market in 2005.
IS Investment has won many awards, including in the category of Euromoney Awards for Excellence “Best Equity House“ in 2007 and 2008, “Best M&A House” in 2009 and 2014, “Best Investment Bank” in 2010,2011, 2013. IS Investment was given “Financial Advisor of the Year in Turkey” award by FT/mergermarket in 2010; and “Best Investment Bank in Turkey” award by EMEA Finance in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. IS Investment was also given the prize in “The Company with the Highest Rating Score in Board” category by Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD). Is Investment was deemed for six consecutive years “Turkey’s Most Admired Investment House” according to the results of Turkey’s Most Admired Companies Survey from Capital magazine. In addition to those, IS Investment was selected one of the best ethic companies in Turkey by Turkish Ethics Values Center Foundation (EDMER) in 2012 and 2013.
